About Me

Hi, my name is Sylvie Wilson.

My love of creativity began as a young girl.  I loved to write stories, dance and facilitate plays.

My love of theatre grew and I was lucky enough to join the ‘Orion Theatre’ - a travelling children’s theatre based in Hastings, East Sussex. The company put on plays and ran workshops for schools around the country.

Later I ran workshops for both local primary children, special needs children as well as adults with learning disabilities.

When I moved to London I trained as a social worker and carried out my professional practice with vulnerable adults in a complex team for many years.

I then took time out to train as a drama and movement therapist using the Sesame approach, at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Where I practised in the field for 10 years.

My passion is for self development using creativity.

My sessions are open to explore feelings and problems that are a concern for you and to help you to become unstuck. You will always be accepted for who you are.

We may use words (if you want but OK if you don’t) as there are plenty of other non verbal means to communicate using drawings, movement, music, relaxation, stories or just being with music.

Although I live in London I have a calling to take myself off to the country

or coast to revitalise my energy and to heal.

As a young girl I found solace and comfort in nature and still do.

I am very interested too in eco psychology, have a deep interest in the outdoors and

truly believe that walking in nature is very healing.

I treasure my family and friends and have a huge interest in admiring and interacting with my three grandsons

as they are grow up.
